TC Empower young women from ethnic minorities

How to use the Youth in Action programme as a tool to empower young women from ethnic minorities.

Aims of the training course:
• Bringing together youth workers, social workers, peer educators & organisations working with young women with an ethnic-cultural background and to exchange working practices with the target group and the issues in question
• Exploring the possibilities and benefits of the European Youth in Action programme (group exchanges, voluntary service, group initiatives, support and training) as a tool for working with this target group
• Developing project management skills in setting up international (Youth in Action Programme) projects with young ethnic-cultural women
• Working on concrete follow-up projects - within or without the Youth in Action programme - with partners from the course or others - and multiplying the skills and knowledge gained at the course (e.g. set up projects, cooperation with the NA, spread information, etc)
