The conference aims to bring together, youth policy makers at European and national levels, Institutions, National Youth Councils, other NGOs and young people from all South Eastern European countries, EU member states and the rest of interested Youth in Action Programme countries, to discuss the possibilities for intercultural learning as the basis for starting a fruitful intercultural dialogue among young European citizens and policy makers at European and national levels.
In this context, the aim of the conference is to provide participants with the opportunity to initiate a dialogue among neighbouring European cultures and to discuss a number of key youth issues: enhancing cooperation among European Organisations and the youth related National Authorities, State Bodies and NGO’s in the region, development of viable youth strategies and policies, and coordination of all relevant stakeholders for the promotion of a structured dialogue among youth and policy makers at European level. Participants will have the opportunity to get a better knowledge of young people and youth policies in each national reality, towards a sound European integration.
