Young people are definitely the last to be blamed for the current
financial crisis. We are the solution!
The European Youth Forum (YFJ) trusts the G20 leaders to commit to working
with and investing in young entrepreneurs to solve the current economic
and environmental crisis. Over the last years, the importance of investing
in youth has increasingly been recognised at local, national and
international levels. Moreover, the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) stated that
investing in youth is "a key strategy for poverty reduction and
socio-economic progress". The YFJ hopes that the G20 Summit will prove
that also leaders at the highest level are on track with the societies
they represent.
