Volontiranje (EVS) na organizaciji Parade ponosa u Ljubljani

Društvo Parada ponosa (Ljubljana Pride) traži dvoje volontera/ki iz Hrvatske za EVS projekt u trajanju od tri tjedna u lipnju (1.-30.6.) koji bi volontirali na direktnim poslovima oko organizacije prajda u Ljubljani. Radi se o projektu koji specifično cilja na mlade iz LGBT zajednice i/ili na one posebno zainteresirane za rad u tom području.

Zadatci za volontere/ke: Pomoć u svakodnevnim aktivnostima, organizacija, tehnička i logistička podrška, društveni mediji, promocija evenata i administrativna podrška, rad s volonterskim grupama i mladima.

Projekt počinje u ožujku 2017.  i traje 6 mjeseci.

Who we are: Ljubljana Pride is a non-profit civil society organisation established by all main LGBT organisations in Slovenia to ensure the yearly organisation of the Pride Parade and surrounding activities.

Who can apply: LGBTQIA+ people with a strong interest in LGBTQIA+ activism and politics

Description: EVS volunteers will be involved in the program of the Festival Pride Parade. Typical task for volunteers are: preparation of facilities prior to events, technical + logistical support during and after each event, communication with participants at events, hosting and logistical support, communication on social media about events, promotion and reports for English speaking audiences, basic administrative support, like keeping participants lists and logistical support during the Pride parade. Participants will gain competences in group work, working in multicultural environment, increasing the level of foreign language, communication with participants, and technical and logistical competences. They will get learn about project management (ex. how to manage smaller 1 day events like exhibitions, concerts, parties). They will gain competences in LGBTQIA+ tourism and promotion (how to set up and be a guide of an English speaking LGBTQIA+ Guided Tour of Ljubljana). They will gain the knowledge about social media (how to write texts for different social media and for different target audiences, how to film short movies and use editing programs). They will get the training before the program starts, so they will be already trained and able to improve their competences. This EVS is especially dedicated to the youngsters, who are coming from LGBTQIA+ groups.
